Session 1:

Art In A Bottle: An Introduction to Wine Tasting, or “Wining Mindfully”

Laureen will lead you through a lively discussion and teach you how to uncork the art in your glass. You will learn how to taste and appreciate wine the same way professionals do. This class is highly recommended for new tasters and Want-To-Be-Cork Dorks!

Session 2:

Uncork Summer! Sparklers and Great Value Sippers

Ever onder why the bubble size varies in sparkling wines or what varietals are used to create them? Want to discover some alternatives to Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio for your next BBQ? Let Laureen guide you to great values in red, white, and sparkling wines that will “uncork your summer” in festive and refreshing way!

Session 3:

Local Wine Discoveries

Yes, there is wine being made right here in Connecticut. Good, drinkable, and sometimes organic wines made right in your backyard! Laureen will select some local favorites and lead you through a professional tasting that will inspire you to take a CT wine adventure of your own.

Date Options: Tuesday, August 10, 2010 or Thursday, August 19, 2010


Time for all sessions: 7 - 9pm

Cost: $25 per session or “Bring a Friend” Discount rate of $40 for two people (must register for 2 spots at the same time to receive discount)

All 3 sessions for $70.
